Soule Golden

Soule Golden (Costume Designer - Danbury, CT) sees costuming as a tactile way of telling important stories. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Textiles and Apparel Design from Cornell University. In 2004, Golden was an apprentice at the Santa Fe Opera and joined The Joffrey Ballet as assistant wardrobe supervisor in 2005. Recently, she designed costumes for A la Gershwin choreographed by Mark Goldweber and To Know Her choreographed by Donald Byrd, which The Joffrey Ballet premiered at Ravinia Festival in 2007. Golden also designed contortionist costumes last year for Chicago-based photographer Sandro Miller's Cadillac Magazine project. Golden hopes to continue cultural understanding through the medium of textiles.
